SUMMARY:Advocacy Training
DESCRIPTION:Day 1 of Training.  These trainings are conducted by our really great friends at PATH and include sessions with instructors from New Hope!  Registration begins at 5:45 Friday night. \nThis training is a solid look at what human trafficking really is\, with a focus on sex trafficking. \nAs a participant\, you will learn about traffickers and purchasers as an introduction to more fully understand what goes on in the life and mind of a victim. The focus then shifts toward how to spot a victim\, intervene\, understand the behaviors and effects of trauma on the brain\, and be prepared for whatever venue you feel led to serve in. \nWhether  you are considering working directly with survivors\, becoming involved with Outreach or Community Awareness\, or just want to know more about human trafficking\, this is the place. \n$30 fee covers both days.  $20 for students (with current ID)
